May is here and Harmony Gardens is stocked up with beautiful blooming trees and shrubs not to mention all of the tried and true bedding plants you will need in your garden this spring. We also have a wide range of newly released plant varieties such as the Purple Pixie Loropetalum. Plant varieties aren’t the only new thing at the garden center. We have installed new water features and landscaping to spark some great ideas for your backyard getaway. This year we will be bringing fire and water into the garden. These natural elements work great together and create a tranquil environment that is second to none. The idea is to create a seamless transition from the inside of a home to the outdoor entertaining areas…and then to create a natural flow from one outdoor space to the next while creating great views of each area from the others. Some of the new elements we are using in our designs are moving water for sight and sound… outdoor lighting to soften and/or highlight focal points, Fireplaces to create that cozy nestled feeling, Outdoor Kitchens to allow dining with friends and family, Fire pits …these make for great conversation areas, and Kio ponds…very tranquil and relaxing.
